Our mission is to provide the most cost effective and convenient method for customers to order and receive blood test lab results. How does this work?
Discounted Labs
Freedom Lab Orders is a lab ordering company. Although we are not directly affiliated with Quest Diagnostics Lab Centers, we are contracted with them, and we send your lab order to their facilities. You will need to have your lab work drawn at one of their Lab Facilities. (Please note, customers with any form of Medicare are not allowed to use Freedom Lab Orders services due to Medicare restrictions between Quest Diagnostics and Medicare.)
Create An Account
To utilize this service, it is recommended you create a customer account with Freedom Lab Orders, however you may order lab tests without creating an account.
Creating The Lab Order
You may begin ordering lab tests using the A-Z look up list, or by using the filter section found in the lab order page. You may add as many tests as you would like, to the cart. You will need to be able to travel to a Quest Diagnostics Lab Draw Station to have your blood drawn, or have a urine collection. Please confirm you have access to a facility close enough for you to travel to, prior to paying for your lab work.
Making A Payment
Proceed to checkout. You can create an account during this step. You will be required to input your email address. A flat processing fee of $55 will be added to each lab test order. You may order as many tests as you would like and still only pay a $55 processing fee. Pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal, Venmo, or Health Savings Account. HSA payments must be linked with, and paid with a credit or debit card. (We are not responsible for providing an HSA organization with proof of medical services, this is the customer’s responsibility.)
Receiving The Lab Order
After making a payment, you will receive an email with a PDF copy of your lab order. The email will be sent to your inbox once our provider reviews your order, processes it, and transfers the order to the Quest Diagnostics Lab data base. Processing time will typically be 1 business day, or same day if ordered before 12 noon Mountain Time. Check your junk mail if you have not received the order in your email inbox within one business day after submitting your order to Freedom Lab Orders. You may also text or call 801-855-6468. You do not need to take the lab order with you to the Quest Diagnostics, as the lab technician can find it at any Quest Diagnostics Lab. However it is recommended you provide them a copy of the order.
Viewing Test Results
To view the results, download the myQuest App from the App Store and create your own account, which will give you access to your results as soon as they are posted. You may also look for your results online once you have created and verified your identity with Quest. Typically results post within 2-14 business days. Some lab tests require longer than 14 days to process. If you do not wish to create a myQuest account in order to view your results online, we will gladly send you a copy of the results, upon your request, by email.
Creating a myQuest Online
Go to http://www.questdiagnostics.com/appointment and click “sign in.” On the sign in page, click “create an account” and follow the instructions.
Proceed To The Lab Draw Station
Schedule an appointment from the “Schedule A Lab Draw” menu or go to http://www.questdiagnostics.com/appointment . At your appointed time, travel to the testing center. Once you arrive, and check in, please review the order with the Lab Technician prior to having the blood work drawn. Make sure no other orders which may be linked to your name are used by the technician. If you have another order in the system, created by another health care provider, confirm with the technician, that they are not using the improper order.
For stool and urine samples, contact the lab to pick up the necessary supplies, as they will be needed to perform lab work.
Other Information
Lab results should be available within 2-14 days after the lab draw. Lab tests, such as an Omega 3 Check may take 14- 21 days to return. Simple lab tests such as a CBC or CMP are usually back within 1-3 business days. Of note, other lab diagnostic companies, including Lab Corp, for example, will not accept this order. If you take this order to Lab Corp, for example, they may draw the selected lab tests, and process them for you, but you will be responsible for payment to Lab Corp or any other Lab Company other than Quest Diagnostics Testing Facility. You will not receive a refund from Freedom Lab Orders if this circumstance occurs.
